Trustees lead by example
in their communities. Most Trustees come into the
organization already involved in charities or community
activities. Their philanthropic contributions involve
much more than simply writing checks. They are in a position
to be visible and their behavior is an influence on those
around them. Many young people view Trustees as role models.
By adhering to principles of authentic leadership and
generosity of spirit, the Trustees are able to have a significant impact in their communities. By bringing the same leadership style that works so well in their businesses to their charitable activities, they often achieve spectacular results.
CEO Trust provides a great forum for members to share their community involvement. Members find that other colleagues are drawn to their worthy causes, and working together, they are able to enjoy a special camaraderie and great sense of satisfaction.
The CEO Trust organization also develops formal programs to help transform
our communities. Some examples we plan are:
 |
Community Outreach Committee. This is a committee of volunteers who respond to challenges. For example,
in natural disasters, this committee organizes city resources to provide assistance to victims. |
| |
 |
Social Venture Funds. We routinely team up with organizations to provide funding for businesses or programs that benefit the community. |
| |
 |
Special Interest Forums. CEO
Trust often brings thought leaders together to work on major issues, such as healthcare, education, or immigration. |
