PANELIST BIOS: 

John Madigan, President & CEO, Executive Talent Services, LLC.

John Madigan is the founder and owner of Executive Talent Services (ETS), a business that has provided outplacement, talent management consulting, and executive coaching services for companies and career management services for individuals since 2007.

Before establishing this firm, John held several senior HR roles at The Hartford Financial Services Group including Vice President of Talent Acquisition. In that role, he led executive and professional recruiting for the enterprise, including field staffing for P&C and Life, college relations, assessment consulting, and diversity staffing. In other roles, he led corporate education and multiple generalist teams supporting various business and functional units within the company.

Prior to joining The Hartford, Madigan was a vice president at Drake Beam Morin, an international career management and outplacement firm, and served in various human resources leadership roles during his 9+ years at Aetna Life and Casualty. Earlier in his career, he directed career development and placement services at the University of Hartford.

Madigan holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Connecticut, and completed the coursework and passed the general exam toward a Ph.D. in adult learning at that same institution.

Debbie Mrazek, President, The Sales Company

Scott Nevins, Principal, Bernstein Private Wealth Management

Scott C. Nevins is a Senior Financial Advisor in Bernstein’s New York office; he provides asset allocation and wealth planning advice to individuals, families, endowments, foundations, and entrepreneurs. Nevins joined the firm in his current position in 2006 and was appointed a Principal in 2010. Previously, he was the CEO of seven early-to-mid stage financial service and technology service companies for over 20+ years; he previously held sales and technology management positions at GE Capital, a financial services company. Nevins earned a BA, cum laude, from Fairfield University. He received Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in 1999 and 2000 and Deloitte and Touche’s Fast 50 award in 2000. Nevins serves on the boards of the World Affairs Forum, the Association for Corporate Growth, Angel Investor Forum, Jewish Senior Services, and several additional boards. Scott lives by a very simple philosophy – “There is no such thing as someone who is very honest or highly ethical, someone is either honest and ethical or they are not.”

In the area of networking, Scott has taught thousands of professionals to improve their in-person and virtual networking skills through his Rainmaking Through Networking and Rainmaking in the Hybrid World. Additionally, he is a mentor to senior executives, business leaders, and entrepreneurs.

Theresa Boyce, Chairman & CEO, CEO Trust

Theresa builds connections and opportunities for CEOs while drawing from multi-disciplined, multi-industry business experience.

She began her career as a CPA for KPMG, earned a Wharton MBA, and obtained marketing and sales training in Procter & Gamble brand management. Theresa has a history of successfully launching high growth in a spectrum of companies, from entrepreneurial ventures to multi-billion-dollar corporations. Her experience includes the full range of business cycles including in volatile and unpredictable environments. She has been involved in every distribution/marketing channel and trained in most channels from premier companies in related industries. She serves as a director on for-profit boards with expertise in audit, finance, compensation, and governance.

Theresa is passionate about business and bringing people together, which suits her role leading CEO Trust. Theresa is known for creating fiduciary and advisory boards, with a track record of placing hundreds of board directors.
